We know that driving at speed is dangerous and carries many risks on the road and that we rarely get the opportunity to utilise the performance abilities and handling of the cars that we drive in our every day lives. However, on a race track that can change.
Throughout 2010 we have been visiting various race circuits around the country to explore the availability for 2011. After some extensive customer research and great feedback from you, Perkins are now putting our Track Day Club together.
We are concentrating on the best Race circuits in the UK as well as some trips abroad in the Summer. With visits to Bedford Autodrome, Brands Hatch GP Circuit, Snetterton, Silverstone GP Circuit and Goodwood in 2010 we have put together a program for 2011 that we think might interest you.
The system will be simple - we organise everything : - the circuit , all the relevant information you will need , the itinery, the route, the meeting points and the times.
We basically do it all. All you have to do is let us know if you wish to take part in the events.
We will be booking these events all the way through 2011 and all you have to do is REGISTER on the website and we will post up the forthcoming Track Days as we reserve them.
There are many open pit lane track days available around the country and we will be joining these very well organised events - we are just giving you the opportunity to join us in the fun and excitement. The more interest we get, quite simply the more opportunities we will offer. It's about a group of like minded people (who all happen to be Perkins customers) experiencing the capabilities of our cars in an environment that we all feel relaxed and comfortable in.
We have also been very lucky to secure the help of some local racing drivers who will be on hand to help us all in these events throughout the year so we can all learn better road skills, a higher safety control and all round better automobile use. These are posted on the website today so visit us online and chat to us through the LIVE CHAT option and most importantly, get your name down to have a go.
