MG 6 BTCC Plato wins

What and incredible story it was last weekend for the new MG6 GT BTCC Touring car in the first three rounds of the British Touring car championship at Brands Hatch Kent. With a full race day's program of high drama, the MG driven by multiple champion and Channel Five's Fith Gear presenter Jason Plato was really on the pace with the all new car for 2012.

With a very decent 4 th place in the first race and then a 3td place ion the second race, it looked like the day's performance could not get any better but how wrong that was ! In the final BTCC race of the day, Plato battled into second after a re-start after a huge accident at Druids on lap 3 and then snapped past the Honda of Andrew Jordan. Jason Plato was able to pull away in the closing stages to complete the victory which was the first for MG since 2007 when Colin Turkington won at Donnington in the MG ZS.
