BTCC MG6 GT wins again at Croft

mg6 gt racing After another brilliant performance, Jason Plato's KX Momentum MG6 GT BTCC car won another race in this weekend's round at Croft. Having missed the first race because of mechanical problems with his car, Oxfords' Plato, who comes from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, won race three to end a six-year drought in front of his "home crowd". Tom Onslow-Cole's eBay motors BMW and Andrew Pirtek Racing Civic were second and third.

Double BTCC Champion Plato's win was his second this year and he added : " Today's win was crucial in making sure we keep the Honda's in sight but, as a team, we are still learning about the MG6. It's important we manage our expectations but we have a few test days planned for the break and that will enable me to get more comfortable with the car and for the engineers to work their magic. I think we can still find another second per lap".

Meanwhile, while the MG6 wins on track, another 2 lucky owners have taken deilvery of their New MG6 GT and New MG 6 Magnette from our Perkins MG Rayne Dealership last week. Awareness of the product is building and our sales teams are arriving at Mg Longbridge on Wednesday 11th july to test drive the new MG6 GT and Magnette Turbo Diesel model which promises a great return on fuel economy and the forthcoming MG3. All very exciting.
