Le Mans Classic Report
Just and excuse for some amazing pictures of some of the historic Le Mans racers over the last 70+ years of endurance racing cars.
We had lots of customers join us this year some camping and some staying close by to the circuit and we had a great time walking around the vast paddocks of classic cars from Facel Vegas' to Ferrari's and MG's to Matra's - What a stunning display of Le Mans race cars with proven race winning history - £15 million Porsche 917 and Aston Martin DBR 1 were there to touch and feel aswell as watch the talented drivers scream around the tough endurance circuit. Needless to say...it rained...quite a lot but that did not seem to bother anyone who had made the effort to take the trip to France and everybody enjoyed the short stay overseas.
Here are a few pictures of the cars on show and around the track and we'll post up a few videos on the Perkins You Tube channel so you can here the sounds of Le Mans Fotd GT 40's and Lola's flat our down the Mulsanne Straight. Makes you spine tingle a bit for a petrol head.
