ESSEX 16th July 2013 - Ford criticaly acclaimed Focus ST and Fiesta ST hot hatches just got hotter with the introduction of official Mountune upgrades.
The packages are developed by race engine and road -car performance specialist Mountune and boost output from the Focus ST's 2.0-litre ECOboost engine to 275 ps from 250 ps.
Even the iconic Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500 of the mid 1980's would be left behind by the Mountune upgraded Ford Focus ST with astonishing performance and driveabilty.
Mountune is also offering an official upgrade for the Fiesta ST, which will increase the maximum power available to 215 ps enabling acceleration of 0-60 in 6.4 seconds.
Ok lets get into the details here - The Mountune upgrades available at PERKINS MOUNTUNE PRO-DEALER in Great Dunmow Essex (just 6 miles from the M11 and 16 miles from the M25 ) boost both Focus ST and Fiesta ST in-gear acceleration. Peak Focus ST torque raised to 400Nm improves (31-62mph) in fourth gear by .08 secs to 4.9 seconds - peak Fiesta ST torque increased to 320 Nm improves (31-62 mph) accelerationin fourth gear by 0.7 secs to just 5.7 seconds.
As a Mountune appointed dealer will are able to fit these upgrades quickly - less than an hour for the Fiesta ST and 90 minutes for the Focus ST. Both are fully compatible with the Ford warranty, meaning Mountune modified vehicles continue to be covered against mechanical failure for three years or 60 000 miles from the original date of purchase,

The Focus ST Mountune upgrade is available in either silver of black finish and includes a cast alloy inlet duct, high flow air filter element, larger alloy intercooler and unique calibration.
The Fiesta ST version has a re-modelled air box base with secondary inlet duct, a high -flow flter element and unique calibration.
The Focus ST Mountune upgrade costs £1225 for silver and £1275 for black and the Fiesta ST Mountune upgrade costs £599. All prices are including VAT plus fitting charge of 60 mins and 90 mins.
The Mountune Fiesta ST upgrade kit is available from July 2013 and the Focus ST upgrade kit is available from August 2013.
