New Subaru Outback SX Diesel Automatic Review

The New Subaru Outback 2.0 D SX Lineartronic is due to arrive in just a few short weeks and we will have new cars in stock and a demonstration vehicle available from day one.

We have been lucky enough to drive the car already just before the press got their hands on them and I must say it's a superb addition to the range of Subaru vehicles. Quite a few improvements have been made from the previous model car with the obvious one being the new Lineartronic 7 speed automatic CVT gearbox. The handbrake has been moved to a central position which is what our customers have been asking for along with a all new instrument cluster, Piano black/carbon fibre dash, New seats that are half leather as standard, 17 inch gunmetal alloy wheels, new front grill, new headlamps cluster with bigger fog lamps, body coloured bumpers and side skirts and roof rails.....all as standard.

The emissions are good too. 166g per KM Co2 Rating for the Lineartronic and 155g per KLM for the manual, 44.8 mpg combined for the Lineartronic and 47.9 mpg for the 6 spd manual and with 350 Nm of torque the engine performs beautifully.

With new electric power steering and imporved damping, double wishbone suspension on the rear , there is less body roll and handling and ride is improved. Cars will available very soon and delivery is currently 3 weeks but that will soon take longer as the first stocks sell.

Here is a little MSN review we found on the internet which I think is a reasonable take on the car.
